The toilet wouldn’t fully flush on day one of our three night stay. A call down to the front desk was met with a requirement that we come down from the third floor to retrieve a plunger and take care of it ourselves. The plunger was needed multiple times a day for the entire stay. The room was never serviced even after requesting that it be serviced at the front desk. When we complained to hotels.com customer service, the hotel dishonestly said none of this happened. We literally left the plunger in the bathroom for the next tenants. The room was clean and quiet, so I wouldn’t say it was all bad.

Poorly Managed
I would not advise anyone to stay at this property. The front desk (like most hotels) took a credit card at check in to offset any potential room charges. They stated that they would place a provisional $125 charge to the card. Instead they placed a $625 charge on the card. When I called they denied anything more than the $125. After checkout they did not return any money but instead left the $625 charge on the card. When I called again they denied that the card had ever been run as they had no record of the card number - not even the original $125 that they previously stated they had charged. When I asked how we were to resolve this I was told to file a claim with my bank card holder. Very snippy young lady answering the call. Interesting that on the first called she claimed that she could not help me and that all management had left for the day (3:00 CT). The same girl answered my second call and miraculously now know how to check the system and could try to help.
Very poorly managed from this perspective. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member I have stayed at countless Marriott properties world wide and this location is by far the worse and certainly not living up to the Marriott standards.
