Good experience. Excellent customer service. We landed pretty late and there was slim manpower in front desk. Still the staff was very helpful and solved our issues on bedding quickly. Would recommend to friends.

The room was in fairly good condition. Minor damages here and there from age. Great space. Nice sitting area. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed room, that was able to get nice and dark. Hotel was in a perfect location. Underground parking is cheaper than most places and I had no issues. Room was pricy but like, so is everthing in the area and the value for dollar was really good imo

Recommended

Very convenient location in the dynamic heart of the Vancouver Pride area. Many restaurants, interesting bars and little multi-ethnic stores. The hotel apartment was good, clean and basic but we did have problems with an uncomfortable mattress which was immediately addressed by management with a better result. Don't look for luxury but ticks the boxes for convenience and location.

Boa localização e bom hotel.

Estadia de 10 dias. Excelente. Tudo o que a gente precisava. Cozinha completa. Sala e quarto separados. Vista da cidade. Queria lado mar mas a vista da cidade tambem valeu a pena. Bairro movimentado. Praticamente tudo a pe. Bons mercados. Gostamos muito e com certeza indicamos.

Fantastic suite to stay in for our weekend trip. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean except for minor soap scum in the jacuzzi tub, but staff were prompt to give it a thorough once over for us.

I requested the renovated suite. It was a good stay. However, we notified the front desk for a room clean at 11:30am on our second day and they forgot to inform housekeeping. So we got back to the room and the room was not cleaned. The front desk must have forgot.

Overall Happy but

I was originally placed on floor 15, the lights were broken, floor was dirty, furniture was stained, wood was chipped.. it looked horrible and smelt bad. Guest services moved me to another room on floor 15 but I said no, they complied and moved me to the 12th floor into a normal clean room. I’d say the staff was 10/10 on their response to this concern but I wasn’t too happy about being offered a room that was a 1/10 cleanliness.

Lots of good things and a great location

This was our first time at the Sandman Suites Vancouver on Davie. We chose this hotel because of its location to St Paul's Hospital and we were delighted with the eclectic nature of Davie St, along with the beautiful views of English Bay.. It should be noted that if you come by car, the parking/lobby entrance is located off the narrow street behind the hotel. There is only a walk-in entrance on Davie. The hotel is in the midst of renovations, so some of the areas are still rather dated looking, but if our room is anything to go by, the hotel is going to be amazing when complete. Our renovated ocean view suite (king) was located on the 23rd floor facing English Bay. We found it comfortable and clean throughout. Although we did not need a kitchenette, we were very impressed with all the amenities. It even had a compact size stove with an oven, as well as, an insuite washer and dryer! We loved the amazing views from the balcony, but if you have any issues with heights, or have small children that require constant supervision, it might be best to enjoy the view from inside the balcony doors. The design and openness of the balcony did feel a bit unnerving when we first stepped out. Our check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and the front desk attendants were all very welcoming and helpful. We also appreciated the reasonably priced underground parking. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Sandman Suites on Davie, and look forward to our next visit.
