"No Hot Water!!!!"
I booked a suite with a private room, I got a room with a big bed. No suite, no extra room, no couch. I asked them to move me to a suite, which they did, but no couch, there were two chairs, that pulled out into a single "bed", no blankets or pillows for these "beds". This room was suppose to sleep 5. Now, for the rest, NO HOT SHOWER!!!! The water was luke warm at best, and did not last very long, the heater for the room, was in the front room. I'm not sure but I thought La Quinta was a pretty decent place to stay. Oh, and this "suite" was an extra $10, not on the website where I booked it. This review is for Hotels.com, but I will be calling a manager in the morning and letting them know the issues we've had. Then, if some issues are resolved, I might not leave a bad review for them.

Room was clean but that’s about the only good thing I could say. TV in bedroom had no power cord. Room in front room had a very small tv. Overall really rundown aged hotel.

Don’t stay here
The worst hotel stay I have ever been to. Once checking in, we asked the gentlemen to place our two rooms side by side, but nope! Let’s place the reservation on the opposite sides of the building. Breakfast was very limited. Coffee had coffee grounds, not drinkable. Waffle mix ran out all the time. Our rental was tried to get broken into. One night someone was looking thru our window bc the shades don’t close all the way. Overall cleanliness was non existent. There was hair/ pubes in the bathroom.

Electrical tape holding shower head together. Bathroom sink overflowed. Unclean. Smelled damp. Curtains broken. Pictures on website are NOT of this property. “Dog area” is a small strip of weeds & stickers. Zero grass. Do not recommend this place. 90$ a night wasted.

The room was clean and the AC worked great. However the toilet was clogged, couldn’t use it till maintenance came to fix it. Shower head was oddly place at stomach level (I’m 5’8” so even lower for my 6’3” husband). The shower head was detachable but still very odd. The water didn’t really get hot. I was able to take a shower without turning the cold water on and it still was just warm. The breakfast was great. Waffles, cereal, different kinds of breads, and fresh fruits. All in all there were some negatives but the price was good, easy access and we felt safe. It was a good experience.

I enjoyed my stay and between the Woman in the cleaning room process the Girls at the front desk and can’t forget Jessie she was awesome .. I truly had a better experience than expected. I am gonna miss everyone there .. My self and my daughter were going through a transition and Everyone at the Laquinta Garden on the Gods was very supportive.. This was the place for us. Thank you Laura Tachina Nona and Stephanie .. And all my girls ..

Look at the property BEFORE you check in!
The room was clean and quiet. We had called ahead of time to see if their pool was working and were told it was. However, when we arrived and checked in, we were told it was closed for the rest of the year. When we asked for a refund to look for another place to stay, we were told it would take up to 4 business days even though we paid in cash with a card as a deposit. Giving us no choice but to stay. The breakfast was stale bread and cereal. They had a waffle maker but no batter, and when I asked if they had any, the woman at the desk huffed at me. Then, very rudely, she went to fix the problem before shouting, "There you go!" at us before returning to her phone. If we had known this, we would have found another hotel.
