Run, don’t walk away
From the moment you pull up, you feel like this was a mistake. The pictures online are very deceiving. The outside and inside are both actually falling apart. The room was as clean as it could be considering the age and condition of the motel. Breakfast was not even a possibility as we checked out as soon as they unlocked the lobby (yes you read that right)

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
The place was very dirty. Coffee and cups in the room but no coffee maker. Was told they would get us one the called back and stated they did not furnish coffee makers but we could go down anytime to get coffee from the lobby 24/7. When we went down on both days of our stay the doors were locked and we were told we could not get coffee until 7am. The staff was not friendly and seemed to be more interested in laughing and joking around with each other rather than attending to their guest. The floor in our room was so dirty our socks were black on the bottom and we left black foot prints in the tub when we showered. The whole facility is run down and in dire need of painting and their were several places that needed repair. We will not ever be staying here again and will recommend that no one does!

Worst hotel experience of my life!
Drove 1000 miles for a family vacation, only to be lied to at the front desk about the suite we booked 8 months prior. The new owners moved into the suite & hoarded it with their belongings. Our room was dirty, was missing blankets on all 4beds, TV had lines across it, internet wouldn't connect, toilets kept backing up - and guess what - no maintenance on duty so you are handed a plunger! They do not maintain the property in anyway, there was so much dust on everything, as well as mouse/rat droppings behind the furniture. The clocks, lights, and mini fridges did not work. My children's feet were black after being in the room for less than 45 minutes, the elevator was boarded up, owners stalked us and accused us of things we weren't doing, made us so uncomfortable we checked out a day early. Owner would not provide my cash deposit back and had to get into a heated argument about it, makes verbal agreements at check out that he blatantly LIES about. When we called the local police to report the theft, we were told that this happens all the time at this hotel, and it has went downhill ever since these people purchased it. On duty officer stated everything that was told to us about a fire marshall being there in the morning was a lie, and that specific officer was at the hotel to evict another room that day, and not a word was mentioned about me and my "bad" family. Owners use the room deposits as a way to make money.

Stay away from this dump owned by THEIVES.
Stayed here 6+ times in past. Despite the bad reviews, always stayed in a suite & never had issues. Last visit was late 2023, before it was sold to new owners. Planned this trip a year in advance & booked 2 suites for friends driving 1000 miles. Upon check in we were lied to & told the toilet didn’t work in 1 suite and were given two rooms (& 1 suite) instead. Later found out that the hotel owners live & hoard in that suite, that’s why it was not available, & every toilet on the property had issues. All 3 rooms were dirty, the suite smelled like mold, beds didn’t have blankets, tvs didn’t work, internet did not connect, elevator was removed & boarded up, feet turned black if you walked without socks or shoes in the room...… amongst many other things. We tried to make the best of it bc we were here for the beach. When we had problems a toilets didn’t flush, the front desk gave us a plunger & laughed in our faces. When we asked for actual blankets for the beds, we were some, including a fitted sheet with toenails in it. The new owners are obsessed with following you around, making you uncomfortable, accusing us of smoking inside the rooms when we had 3 children and they could see the actual smokers out on the smoking deck. The owner posed as housekeeping and when we opened our door said it smoked and we invited him in the room, as we had nothing to hide. Owner will make verbal agreement & then LIE!!! We contacted the Galveston police and filed a theft report against the hotel.

My stay in this hotel started with too long line and too much waiting time to check in. My room was dirty and too run down furniture, only one towel for two of us, no coffee Maker, incompetent and careless staff.

Floors so dirty your feet turned black, fixtures so dusty looked like harden been dusted in years. I booked two of the same rooms only got one with couch and large tv, bed had deep holes, room had beef just painted but not cleaned . We are not picky but the worse room in 60 years of traveling.

Shabby and no regard for safety
Several people were checking in at the same time. The desk clerks took no precautions regarding what room was being assigned. A big safety issue! In addition, they charged an extra $15 for parking. Ridiculous! The parking was not very well lit, raising additional safety concerns. The stairwell was trashy. The room has been remodeled, but lots of obvious patches on the wall. The shower was not remodeled and did not drain. No soap provider for the sink. The sheets didn't smell fresh. I do not recommend and I would not stay here again.

We ended up don't staying. We are trying to get our money back. When we checked in they charged our card right away. Then was told I had to spend an extra 15 dollars for parking. Not worth the time even for just one night
Sheets were stained mirrors were dirty shower hadnt been cleaned in a while no soap in shower. Heat sid not work was 61 in the room and would not come on. When we got there we met a couple in the parking lot that had gotten a room that was allready occupied they wwre pretty clueless in the office about the fix. They also charged us 15 dollars for parking overnight in there parking lot 15 bucks for something that should have been included with the price of the room. Outside was decaying and in disrepair

Crappy Roach Motel
Didn’t like the motel. It was not clean and we worried about bed bugs. The card readers didn’t work efficiently. You had to swipe the cards 10-15 times to get them to work. We had reserved an ocean view but the clerk said that their ocean view was to walk down to the corner and you can see the ocean down the hall. Also, we was charged $15 for a parking spot for our vehicle even though we rented a room. If you like roach motels than you’ll feel right at home. The only thing that I did find comforting that the mattress was soft. There was spot of blood on the lampshade and 2 spots on the side of the bottom sheet on the bed. The check in time was extremely long because of all the different customers complaining about the Motel and service.

Terrible experiencia
Pésima experiencia, por los siguientes puntos: A) En la recepción un letrero donde nos piden evaluarlos en trip advisor a cambio de una soda fría. B) El papel de baño no lo dejan en la habitación, lo solicitamos y tuvimos que bajar para que solo nos dieran dos rollos en la bolsa del papel toda rota para una habitación de tres personas. C) Había una bolsa llena de basura al momento de ingresar por primera vez a la habitación inclusive cuando nos dijeron que ya estaba lista la habitación. D) Los depósitos de jabón tanto de manos como de enjuague completamente vacíos. E) Llegamos a la temperatura de 2 grados Celsius con alerta de tormenta invernal y una de las calmas no tenía colcha únicamente contaba con una sábana ligera y no había nada más para cubrirnos en el cuarto. F) Escaleras de madera alrededor de la propiedad pues no contaban con elevador (son varios pisos y es complicado subir con las maletas si no hay) que además estaban rotas y muy descuidadas llenas de hoyos y demás. G) Preguntamos en recepción el porqué contaban con 5 estrellas si estaban en tan deplorables conclusiones nos respondieron con “estamos frente a la playa” y nos dijeron que no contaban con ninguna garantía ni estándares de calidad. En general muy mala experiencia, no hay limpieza, un hotel en condiciones deplorables con pésimo servicio y no hay calidad en nada, no vale lo que cuesta y no tiene ningún criterio de nada pues llegamos incluso a encontrar cucarachas en el cuarto. Terrible hotel.
