1. Got "Late check-in". I arrived at 4:10pm and can't check in until 5pm. It's my first time to get this kind of experience. To be honest, I don't think it's acceptable as Andaz is 5star hotel.
2. When I checked in, Andaz didn't inform me they would charge me USD500 as the guarantee. I didn't know that until my bank updated me 2 hours later. I totally understand some hotels will do that for safety, however, Andaz should inform me in advance about that.
3. On the midnight, say 1:30am, before the departure day, I got msg from my bank again that someone charged me USD57 from my card. After checking with bank, it's Andaz again. I'm very surprised that Andaz charged me without any notice, and it's weird they did it midnight. It's highly possible you're not aware at all if my bank didn't msg me about that. I went to desk and nobody was there though supposed they have 24hour reception. It's 2am around. I called the desk and luckily someone picked up and explained to me and said it's automatic process in hotel system. She apologized to me and said it's accidental. How could it happen? Just because Andaz got my credit card details when I checked in.
4. When I checked out, the receipt showed USD10.42 of Andaz Crew Beach. However, I didn't use any pool/beach facility or service during the stay. The lady on the desk said it could happen "sometimes" and they will remove it. Well, I can understand that it could happen but A
