Booked this location through hotels.com. We arrived later in the evening so the manager was gone for the day. Upon arriving we we told that we had to pay for the room due to an issue with receiving payment from hotels.com. I explained that I had already paid for the room and provided the receipt. Once again I was told that I had to pay for the room directly and the next day when the manager was in, they would attempt to “work it out” with hotels.com and see about getting me a refund. I expressed my dissatisfaction and stated that I was not going to pay for the room again. I had my receipt and the issue was between them and hotels.com, which co reacted the rooms from them. However, after sitting in the lobby until 3 am, hotels.com were finally able to get the issue corrected. So after working out of town and then driving another few hours to reach the hotel, we were greeted with sitting in the lobby til the middle of the night. I asked if she could give us the room and when the manager came in at 7am, she could take care of it so we get some sleep. We had to go to work in the morning. However, it was apparent that she didn’t care and was happy to let us sit in the lobby. Note: after listening to everything that transpired between the front desk clerk and hotels.com it became apparent the issue was the language barrier. NEVER AGAIN!!
