We had an amazing stay in Luca. Our room at “Inside the wall” was perfect! Easy to walk to everything in side the wall of Old city of Lucca. We can’t wait to come back.

This is such a hidden gem! We stayed in a first floor room and it was decorated so cute! Super clean and loved the decor. Loved the location. It is a 20 min walk from the train station but we took a taxi. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the air conditioning because there is an Italian law that hotel A/C units cannot run until May 1st (energy conservation and something to do with where Italy gets its electricity and the ongoing conflicts). Not the hotels fault, though! Absolutely lovely place and we’ll be back! (Would love an iron in the room)

Fin beliggenhet og kjempefint rom og bad. Fikk et negativt førsteinntrykk da de hadde et underlig system for innsjekking, og da vi ikke forstod det med en gang, fikk vi en klar melding om at «alle forstår dette». Vi har reist mye og i mange land, men aldri sett noe lignende. Ydmykhet var ikke hennes sterke side! Men etterhvert rettet hun opp inntrykket og var da både hyggelig og hjelpsom. Veldig gode senger. Et minus for at det ikke var heis der.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very stylish and functional. Communication was good and check-in was easy. One small complaint, not the fault of property, is that it is situated next to a bakery which starts working very early. Probably not an issue with all suites. Once we figured out, went back to sleep.

Huge thank you to owner who is invested in this small business with passion caring and inspiration. Lovely personal touches. Daily presence and information regarding contacts and places to go, with tips and suggestions (such as reservations for lunch to ensure table), and many other local tips. Beautifully clean every day with details - lovely

A simple hotel, quite clean, and a small room. Ok for one night, if you like very soft beds. The air-condition could be better running. No service, as described. A friendly young woman at the reception at arrival. But: the same doorcode for all guests in the same room, that doesn't feel safe.

Soggiorno perfetto in struttura all'interno delle mura, totalmente rinnovata con gusto e stile mantenendo parti "storiche". Anche pulizia e location top.Parcheggi disponibili proprio in piazza a pagamento dalle 8 alle 20 anche tramite app easypark. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta a Lucca.

Enjoyed our stay at Inside the Wall. Room was very clean and comfortable and close to the wall. Love the products and bathroom was very clean and new. Bed was more of a temperpedic feel if you like that kind.

We stayed only one night during our day-and-a-half in Lucca. Wish it could have been longer! We had a wonderful experience in Lucca and staying at Inside the Wall. Rebecka was a friendly host and checked us in efficiently while engaging in warm conversation. Our room was lovely, and the location was convenient.

This is not a hotel. You are only renting a room. It is a very small room. It is also quite noisy and you can hear people in other rooms very easily, and I don’t have very good hearing. It is basically self check in, This location offers no help or amenities. If you want to leave a bag either before check in or after check out you’re out of luck they won’t help you at all. We had better luck with the café down the street who generously let us leave a bag in a secure location for free. We found the owner/mgr to be rude and condescending.

Great, modern, clean accommodation in Lucca. Parked right outside and everything that Lucca has to offer is walkable and close by. Would definitely stay there on another visit.
