For a hotel rated four stars, my experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, I discovered visible mold in the shower—an issue that should never occur at this level of accommodation. I attempted to contact the front desk and room service multiple times by phone, but received no response. When I finally went down to the front desk in person to report the issue, the response was underwhelming. I was told, “We’ll let housekeeping know,” with no further follow-up, apology of substance, or offer of compensation. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service fell far short of what one should expect from a four-star establishment.
