The room, the hotel and the position are amazing! If you don’t need to talk to the staff everything is perfect, but if you need it be ready to wait. Only one person at the desk (very nice) but the process seems quite slow.

This is a cool little hotel. The room is small but super modern and neat. The bed adjust up and doen, the shower was fantastic. Sservice was epic. Ate at the bar, delicious. Parking garage across the road. Great place to stay and cheap for downtown DC.

There’s a $35 a day extra charge for pool (which was closed), gym (unused) and water in foyer. Total rip off. Also there’s a smoke alarm light that flashes every 45 seconds non stop. I had to buy an eye mask to sleep it was so annoying.

Modernistic Hotel
I have stayed here twice. Each time it was full of convention attendees and protesters visiting DC. Hotel is close to Union Station and the Capitol. The hotel has a decent bar and restaurant. The pool on the roof is a great feature - also with a bar. The rooms are modern with an adjustable bed - something I’ve never seen in a hotel. The staff is friendly. Don’t expect a quick check in process if you are booking using the third party reservation system. Hotel offers coffee and ice.
