Disappointed
We’ve stayed here a few times. This most recent time I wasn’t pleased. I normally don’t leave reviews but this place was a big time mess. Dirty tampon in the public bathroom, pool loaded with leaves, not enough blankets in the room. Breakfast was great and staff was great. Upkeep is just sub par.

Lovely gem of a hotel
Well-appointed, safe, clean, comfortable place to stay, enough off the main tourist strip to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable. Breakfast is included and made fresh - fruit, eggs, coffee. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous.

Please make sure you do not stay in room 16. I think it was a utility room transformed into a makeshift bedroom. There are no windows, it’s musty and is located right next to the kitchen and breakfast starts at 7:30 in the morning and you get to hear, banging dishes. The pictures online make the hotel look cute and modern, but it’s a tired, musty, old building in an average neighborhood. Would not recommend. I’m pretty sure all the reviews on this are done by the hotel owners.

Hjemmekoselig, familiedrevet overnattingssted. Ikke alle snakket engelsk, men gjorde oss forstått. Misforståelser ang bestilling av transport til cruiseskipet, men hadde heldigvis god tid. Herlig frokost, sultne, søte gekkoer fulgte med. Fikk ikke med oss at man måtte bestille renhold, så ble opphold uten. Tok litt tid før dusjen ble varm, men godt trykk på vannet. Tre stjerner passer godt, helt innafor til den prisen.

I’ll start by saying that the staff was awesome. Both my partner and I had great interactions with everyone there as they were super helpful are reliable so my review isn’t about them. What was really off putting to us was the condition of the room and the lack of cleanliness. Both my partner and I get easily distracted by dirtiness and that was the first thing we noticed. It’s not that things weren’t clean, it’s that it was very obvious that they didn’t clean with care and effort. The floor can use a deep, tough scrub and so can the walls and just more thought about visible areas. It didn’t seem like they cared to make any type of impression and if they did a deep clean of the floors and sheets, the experience would match the filtered photos a lot more. I recommend this place if you need something to just shower and sleep, it’s great for that but beware if you are very particular about cleanliness. Also, the first floor rooms can get very loud with people having breakfast outside or interacting in the hallways so that was a bit disturbing at times but not the worst thing. Other things that positively stood out to us was the breakfast since it’s free and actually very yummy! The menu isn’t large, but you have options and get serviced. No parking as mentioned by others but we never had a problem parking on the side street closest to the hotel.

What I liked was it was a Family operation. I often prefer this over a Marriott. I was close to the main street without being on it and the accompanying noise. I liked the Breakfasts with the Fruit Bowl. That was surprisingly good. There was a storm and Wi-Fi was down for a couple days. At the Front Desk was a bowl with Puerto Rican snacks which was smart and the staff was friendly, recommendations of where to eat, etc. There was sufficient parking in the neighborhood. Larger hotels have parking garages - an extra charge or it is included as a Resort Fee., Three blocks and you are at the Ocean. Great location
