One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. We stayed at Hotel Badagoni Rustaveli, Tbilisi, and on the second night the air-conditioning completely broke down. From 10 p.m. onward, I kept calling reception again and again, and every single time they kept lying that it would be fixed in “10–15 minutes.” Hours went by, and nothing was ever done.
I even asked for a room change or to be moved to another hotel, but they flat-out refused. To make things worse, the windows in the room cannot be opened because of safety restrictions, so the room turned into a suffocating box for me and my wife. After a long day of travel and with an early morning trip booked, this left us exhausted, angry, and completely disappointed.
This was not just bad service — it was negligence. The staff made false promises, offered no real solution, and clearly didn’t care about guest comfort. For the price they charge, this level of incompetence is shocking.
Stay here only if you want to ruin your trip.
