We arrived early to play at the beach, paid the valet and left our bags in storage; and after aprx 2 hrs we received a phone call that the hotel overbooked and needed to cancel our reservation. We had 3 kids very excited for this stay, which I expressed to the supervisor, who was able to find us a room. I then received another call from the hotel about 2 hrs later that I would need to contact hotels.com because the credit card was being declined. After being on hold about 20 mins, they finally worked it out. The supervisor upgraded our room for our trouble. We finally went to retrieve our room key at 4pm and had to wait in a long line, despite already having physically checked in. The manager gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers. Later that night we called down for more towels and an extra blanket, which we never received. The tv doesn’t offer and streaming services where you can login with our own credentials so we were forced to pay 10 for a family/kid friendly movie. The toilet ran every 2 minutes. Finally, after checking out, I called twice regarding phone chargers I left in the room and left 2 voicemails asking that they please hold them so I could pick them up, but never received a call back.
