During our recent stay at the Marriott, we experienced an incredibly dissatisfying and disappointing series of events. Despite arriving well after the official check-in time, our room was still not ready, forcing us to wait unnecessarily. When we expressed our frustration, the front desk clerk attempted to offer an alternate room, but it had smaller beds and did not meet our original reservation requirements. In an effort to make amends, Marriott provided a complimentary appetizer at the on-site restaurant, yet even that gesture fell flat when the restaurant staff failed to seat us despite the space being nearly empty. To top it off, once we finally got into our room, we discovered there was no remote control for the TV. The combination of these issues made for a thoroughly disappointing experience that fell far below Marriott’s usual standards.
