Minor issue to take care of otherwise a nice stay!
A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it out for improvement in the future.

Comfortable stay
Accommodation was good but check in had misinformation. Told that breakfast was from 7 when it’s at 8 at a weekend. So didn’t try breakfast as I didn’t don’t want to wait another hour. The electric charger was a great addition

Great place to stay
Very comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent, pleasant and efficient. Accommodation is separate to the hotel so the room was nice and quiet. Meal at the pub was delicious and breakfast in the morning was really generous and cooked beautifully. Would definitely recommend.

No loo roll in room-loo roll holder smashed off the wall. Were told there was a night porter, but car alarm in carpark kept going off for HOURS in the early hours of the morning

Enjoyable stay
Good room and excellent meal in the adjacent pub restaurant. Only negative was insufficient heating on an unusually cold night.

Not bad for price
We got there later than we would have liked but check in was simple, staff were friendly enough. We were in the room literally just to sleep, no more than about 9hrs so was okay. The room was not greatly cleaned, dirty socks from previous people under the bed, sink had toothpaste in etc but for how long we were in it, it didn't matter that much to us. Beds very comfortable linen seemed clean
