Great hotel in exciting Ikebukuru.

Lovely hotel in vibrant Ikebukuru. Just 5-10 minute walk from the Sunshine City mall which has an aquarium, cinema and great shopping. The free skincare and convenience items at reception was fantastic! Comfy, small rooms but with everything that you need and you can borrow an iron, portable fan, umbrella and a cool pillow (which you need in the incredible summer heat).

A great place to stay - the rooms are a bit small but it is the standard for Japan. This Hotel Wing is around a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station, which may be long for some people but helps the nearby area stay quiet. There is a lot to do a short walk from the hotel with many eateries and convenience stores nearby. The staff at this Hotel were wonderful! Would always greet us when arriving or leaving the lobby and extra shoutout to the receptionists who helped us to transfer our luggage to the next hotel. He was super patient and helpful even when needing to use an English to Japanese translator :)

I stayed here for my very first trip to Japan and I loved the Ikebukuro area. Lots of shopping, entertainment and food and is a less busy area of Tokyo as it isn’t one of the huge tourist attraction parts of Tokyo. I personally found this amazing and this hotel is part of what made my experience so amazing. I will be coming back to this hotel for my next trip, which I anticipate very much and hope to see through soon! Thank you so much to the staff for helping make this a memorable and positive experience for me and my brother.

Very helpful (English speaking) staff. Well kept room that was an ok size for Tokyo area. Fantastic amenity bar with way more items than most places offer. Great common area with microwave. Quiet area that was still conveniently located. My only negative was the laundry facilities. Seriously the worst dryers I’ve ever used in my life and definitely the worst I used in my travels in Japan.

WORST hotel experience ever! I paid premium for "deluxe corner room" which is the most premium room type in the hotel. However when I checked in I was assigned a room that is more like a standard or premium one. The room is a lot smaller, and the hotel staff are very rude and not willing to accommodate. Will NOT recommend to ANYONE!

LOVELY SERVICE

Stayed here for a little over a week. Super nice and quiet, yet still only a 5 minute walk to Sunshine City. Has everything you need, plus more. Staff was super friendly and even allowed me to leave my luggage here a week in advance. Check-in and check-out was super quick, easy, and friendly. They even allowed me to leave my luggage on check-out to pick up later for a flight. I had even left my special travel documents back at the hotel, and they were kind enough to organize and hold onto those documents for me to pick up. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have made my flight in time but thanks to how quick and accommodating they were, I was just barely quick enough to make my flight.
