Séjour convenable, personnel très compétent et très aimable. Un gros bémol et (hélas) comme beaucoup d'hôtels, même étoilés : le bruit. Et le bruit interne au bâtiment. Pas ou peu d'insonorisation. Et, de fait, quand le personnel travaille avec les chariots même jusqu'à 17 ou 18h, qu'on entend rouler dans les couloirs, sans compter les autres clients qui peuvent rentrer tard en parlant fort dans les couloirs et sans retenir la fermture des lourdes portes, il est difficile de se sentir totalement intime dans la chambre.

Çok Merkezi bir konumda otel. Hem katedrale hem de alışveriş caddesinin yanında yer alıyor Odanın konumu ve ısıtması çok iyiydi. Fiyatına göre aldığımız verim iyiydi. Özellikle Weinachtmarkt gezmek istiyorsanız hepsinin ortasında gibi burası bilmeden iyi bir seçim yapmışız.

Nice hotel in a great location.
Nice, no-frills hotel in a great location. Rooms are fairly basic, but they are clean and functional and fine for a typical vacation stay in a place like Cologne. Only problem is that there were some ceiling tiles that need replacing. And don't expect any extra room in the bathroom. The breakfast was good and well worth it. Hosts and managers were helpful and communicative. And the location is ideal for exploring Cologne. 15 minute walk to Cathedral, and easy access to a large pedestrian shopping area. It's on a quiet side street so noise was not a factor. 5-star rating earned.

Convenient walking location.
We stayed in a family apartment, but the layout was unusual. It was one room and felt like a converted office with 4 beds in several corners, a couch a table and 4 chairs and a mattress on the floor. Clean, but no ambiance. Lack of lighting, light fixtures not plugged in, a refrigerator that wasn’t plugged in and that smelled because if was left closed. Only 2 electrical outlets in the room and in one of the bathrooms one faucet that had no cold water and the other was scalding hot. Verty strange. We figured out how to turn the temperature down. Not really a hotel feeling, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was a conveniently location to visit the Christmas market.

Good location, don’t bother with breakfast
I was very disappointed with the breakfast. It wasn’t good. It wasn’t hot. There were no pastries. The milk tasted off and, unforgivably, their coffee was disgusting. Room was fairly new and clean enough. Two small single beds, I don’t see why they feel the need to put singles in when there’s space for two doubles, to be honest. The location was excellent for the Christmas markets and was the reason I chose this hotel.

New Hotel to stay in
This Hotel has two separate buildings. The ‘Boutique’ one is new and really good to stay in. Good internal entry security. Great showers and bathrooms. Breakfast is in the other building on the second floor and is nice. About 5 lm from Cologne HBF but that’s good because you are away from the crowds and trouble. There’s plenty of shops etc within an easy walk. Front reception staff lovely and helpful. Would stay here again.
