The motel was pretty much what one should expect for a motel of this type. The rooms were reasonably large, lots of clean, hot water for showers, comfortable beds with clean linen. The service was good - prompt and positive. The TV did not have any cable service in either of the rooms we stayed in, the towels were well-worn. These are the only complaints we had.

There was mold on the walls and in the corners and the sheets had stains on them and the carpet was dirty in some areas. The showers are nice and new looking and plenty of hot water. The dead bolt on the door wouldn’t work. Yes you need a card to enter the unit but a working deadbolt would be nice. Told the lady at the front desk about it and all she said was, “ok”. Didn’t apologize or ask to be shown the issue. For $141 for the night, I’ll spend the extra $100 and go to best western.

We liked our room. Still going under renovations and rough outside but if they can finish them it could be a great little business. Inside the room there were minor issues like a light plate to be replaced, some caulking to be done in washroom and more attention to detail otherwise the bed was very comfy, internet was fine. There is a large work table in the center of the room which is HUGE. It needs to be smaller as my husband tripped on the chair that stuck out and now has a bruise on his leg. This was in the dark of night. We moved the chair at bedtime as you could not get through to go to the washroom but he forgot he moved it an that is when he walked into it. His fault I suppose. Place even had a small couch and table which was a bonus. The young man that runs the front desk was very nice.
