Three day stay
We stayed for three nights whilst visiting friends in the area.
First impressions are good, it is a huge hotel with lots of different rooms and halls which were unfurnished bearing in mind this was a few days after new year so probably with festivities over were no longer being used.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, some of the hotel and room were a little tired and in need of refurbishment but clean and tidy.
Evening dinner in the Silk bar was fine except being such a large room it was quite cold even with heating on, although we asked for it to be turned up it made little difference and made for a less than comfortable evening.
The saving grace was the breakfast room, much more comfortable and nicely furnished, with every type of breakfast food available, with magnificent views over the ocean, such a nice experience, this was far more preferable to the Silk restaurant.
All in all, a pleasant experience had it been a little warmer it would have made all the difference.
