it's the hotel with the best Beach around 2 islands, good food you can have diving and country walk. But you can hear people from next room so try not making too many funny noise. :P And there are some sand on the bed since day one.
My wife and I stayed at Perhentian Island Resort for 4 nights. It faces the most beautiful beach and probably is the most expensive hotel on Perhentian Islands. However, the hotel itself is not maintained so well and not worth the money spent. The swimming pool and tennis court seems deserted long time ago. (Big) fallen brances lay here and there on the paths. Our room was understandbly moist due to the climate. It would be nice if they provided clotheslines in the room to hang the wet swimsuits. In the room you can hear your neighbors and even the monkeys on the roof clearly, and there was no TV, the electric kettle was broken and the bath water was not a bit cold. There's wifi signals only at the restaurant and reception counter but it could take you a whole night trying to connect to it. Food at the restaurant was just ok but above the average price, and be careful to double check your ordering to avoid extra charging. After all it's only several minutes walk to other restaurants if you want cheaper but as good food. For the next time I will definitely consider other hotels because I find them much cheaper, provides as good service and food, and only minutes walk to the same beach.
