We booked the room with seaview, however we were assigned to the room at the lower floor at the corner which the interior is quite old and tiny which is quite different from the photos shown on the booking website. The room door was difficult to open as well, we needed to pull it hard. Also, as the weather was bad with thunderstorm on the day we checked in, heavy rain just came into the room from the gap of room door which we needed to use all towels to absorb the rainwater at the room entrance. The facility is insufficient as well, even it does not provide water cups / glasses for drinking water.

Ein Klassiker mit toller Aussicht!
Das Hotel ist ein Klassiker. Allerdings sollte man einige Zimmerrenovierungen in Betracht ziehen. Frühstück und Service sind sehr gut, Lage und Blick auf die Bucht und auf den Etna, sind einzigartig. Man sollte jedoch gut zu Fuß sein um die vielen Treppen zu bewältigen.

Spectacular hotel ❤️
This hotel is spectacular! From you arrive and until you leave, you have the feeling of being appreciated as a guest. You're not just another guest. I asked to have a room with a view to Etna, and surely they gave me a room with a view to Etna. They even let me stay for one more night even though they were closing for the season. The room was stunning. You could sit in the window sill and have a cup of coffee and look at Etna in the morning. The room also had an outdoor space with a beautiful table and two chairs, two sunbeds and a parasol. The breakfast was fantastic and very tasteful with bread, cheese and ham, omelet, a salad, different kinds of juice and fruit and desserts/cakes. They also served different kinds of coffee. Everyone is so friendly and greets you with a smile. They are genuine. It's not a performance or fake. You can easily tell if someone is not being genuine and if it's a fake smile. The people in this hotel are genuine and I get a warm feeling when thinking about how they treated me as a guest. At one point during breakfast, one of the servers said; "Are you ok? You are changing colour",meaning that I was about to get sunburned. As I was going back to my room, he said; "have you tasted the desserts?". I said no and he said "come come" and then he put a few of the desserts on a plate for me to take back to the room. These people care, and I am definitely coming back. Glamorous hotel at a reasonable price
Beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. We were lucky to get a room that also faced Mount Etna. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. It was a feast for a king with a wide selection of frittatas, pies, desserts and fruits. Staff were extremely kind, and ready to help. There is also parking on site.

Amazing little gem
Such a lovely old school hotel. Nestled on the hillside it was in easy walking distance to the shopping, cable car and bus terminal. Breakfast was excellent and different each morning. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Great value for the level of service and accommodation.

O hotel é antigo, mas é muito bonito e charmoso. Tem uma vista indescritível…. O lugar é simplesmente perfeito! O quarto é pequeno, mas a cama é muito confortável.. o meu quarto tinha um terraço com uma vista incrível.. o café da manhã muito bom e com muita variedade. O staff sempre amável e atencioso. Honeymoon in Taormina
It was the most amazing hotel I have ever visited!!! Spectacular view, friendly staff. Varied and delicious breakfast. City senter, bus stop are very close. Beuatiful garden belongs to the hotel. Amazig view to Etna and to the sea. I really loved the unique retro Sicilian vibe of the hotel!! I definitely recommend it to everyone!! Must have in Taormina!! 😍

A great hotel!
We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The staff were super nice, the breakfast was delicious and the view was gorgeous. We had a small child in a stroller but it is no problems if you’re ok with carrying it up the stairs in the hotel and up the stairs to town. We had a room with a terras and it was very nice, it had two sun beds and a table for two outside. We can highly recommend this place!
