6/10 Good

Carolina at the front desk made sure to make it known that my method of payment was not accepted and yelled at the Aaliyah the kind woman helping us about it. It was embarrassing and belittling. Carolina did not even address us and I eventually had to ask for her name from another front desk agent. The property was beautiful and the room was spacious but Carolina needs an update on hospitality and customer service.

For the money I spent I could have stayed at a chain hotel and been happier. The room was right by stairwell and every time someone slammed door my room shaked. Also bed was old and I was sunken in middle like being swallowed up.

2/10 Poor

Stay away!
We do an annual mother-daughter Christmas weekend. Our least favorite part of the trip this year was the hotel. we arrived Friday afternoon, valet staff was FANTASTIC (only good staff!!!). The front desk agent who checked us in could not have been more rude or short! From there, we went to the spa for massages, none great but my oldest daughter's was a scene from a TV documentary. Her therapist talked about getting arrested...no point in expounding on it but let's just say it was the opposite of a relaxing experience! Waiting room was downright ugly! In no way worth the $1k we spent there. Honestly, should've asked for a refund! Spa itself leaves a lot to be desired! The hotel is not in good condition at all, very old and outdated! Nothing like their Austin location which we've enjoyed! Hoping new owners do a MAJOR overhaul on the space as well as the staff. Don't usually do bad reviews but I wish I would've read this in advance. Definitely would've booked elsewhere!

6/10 Good

I love the hotel! All of my issues are with the staff. Let me preface that I reserved and paid for an upgraded room with a balcony and a bottle of wine included. Upon check-in, they had no record of my included bottle of wine, so I had to show them my reservation. Not a huge deal, but what if I didn't have the reservation handy? Then, when I checked into the room and walked all the way up to my room....no balcony. I went down and (again) showed them my reservation, so they switched me into the right room. Another and hassle and annoyance that they were about to put me in a standard room when I had paid for an upgrade. The hotel was dead (checked in at 4) and I asked them to bring the wine up ASAP, because we were going to the Mavs game at 6:30 but were going to have a drink in the room with friends. The wine didn't show up until we were walking out the door. Finally, they sent a text that there would be food from 4-6PM in the lobby. So we made dinner reservations for 9PM after the game, and the food in lobby would hold us over. By 5PM, no food, even though the staff in the lobby said there was food. Nope. we made a last minute decision to cancel our dinner reservations and go eat before the game since we were starving. As we walked out to dinner, they started setting up snacks (like 5:30, but was supposed to be 4PM). Anyway, our dinner made us late for the game! All of this is to say, they made a TON of mistakes with us in a way that was very inconvenient.

Super groovy hotel. Great location near upscale restaurants and regular eateries. Lovely shuttle service to any location within 3 miles which was very handy for a trip to House of Blues and back. The guys were all friendly and knew what they were doing. Excellent bar with tasty food and gracious service. Caters to dressed up guests and people coming back from the Cowboys game. Quiet room, didn't hear anything. Really relaxing, comfortable stay. A variety of people stayed here, good people-watching and chill atmosphere. Will come back!

The hotel staff is very friendly and very service oriented food and the restaurant was delicious. The room was beautiful and spacious. Everything was perfect Except the coffee is horrible! And my spouse and I need coffee in the morning so this might be a dealbreaker for a future stays. I don’t understand why they don’t spend a little more and get decent coffee!
