It is difficult to review after receiving service that was nothing short of friendly, attentive and extremely helpful, however, pushing a premium price of $170 per night for a room when not all amenities are available, is cheeky. The hotel could’ve lowered the price considering the advertised pool had no water in it and the wifi didn’t reach our room. The room was situated between an outdoor walkway, leaving very little room for privacy when the blinds were open. The furniture is beautiful and a statement piece but upon closer inspection, the finishes are quite cheap. The above made this stay extremely difficult to justify the price for value received. The team was incredible, so it’s really not the service that lacks but more the quality of the establishment.

I had an amazing stay at El Candil Boutique Hotel! The room was exceptionally spacious and spotless, offering a comfortable and luxurious feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our entire stay even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were excellent, and the fact that they accept card payments made everything so convenient. I would highly recommend staying at this 5-star boutique hotel to anyone looking for a great experience!

It was a beautiful restored mansion. The main problem was the bed - it was absolutely awful. I struggled for 2 days to sleep properly. The staff, Yanexy and Rosabel found a way to make it more comfortable. The wifi was terrible here. They need to fix it. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

We had a great experience at El Candil, beautiful property and very clean. Yanetxi and Rosabel were extremely helpful to arrange transportation, tours to explore the city and to provide us with tips on things to do or things to avoid. The food was very good comparing to what is available around the area. We definitely recommend El Candil as we enjoyed our stay with them.

El Candil is a really special place. The staff are wonderful, professional people, and look out for you. The property is pristine, comfortable, and (important for me) quiet. The restaurant serves really good food and you are within walking distance of tasty paladares. If you want to go into Havana, taxis are just a call away. The staff are linked up to a great network of tour guides who can take you wherever. I had such a great stay and will absolutely come back. Thank you, gracias to the brilliant team of people at El Candil.

Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team! Wir hatten acht sehr schöne Tage in diesem Hotel. Alle Mitarbeiter haben alles gegeben, uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen und uns jederzeit hilfreich zur Seite gestanden. Natürlich müssen Abstriche auf Grund der lokalen Gegebenheiten, z.B. das W-LAN Netz, gemacht werden. Das Engagement der Mitarbeiter lässt dies jedoch schnell vergessen! Wie sagt man so schön: wir sind als Fremde gekommen und als Freunde gegangen! Vielen Dank an alle!

Yanxtey went above and beyond with her excellent costumer service, honestly all the staff was great and wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the room was big and nice . The only downside is the internet which is really bad , so basically no internt at my room I had to go in certain area at the lobby to get some signal . The hotel is away from only havan like 10 miuntes drive. Definitely I will be back if they work on the internet.

El hotel boutique es una casa antigua totalmente restaurada por su dueño. Con muy buen gusto en decoración e instalaciones. Restaurante casual elegante con excelente sazón. Café exquisito. Personal de Bar, restaurante, Meseros, Front Desk y limpieza son muy atentos a las necesidades de sus huespedes y amables. CUBA y la HABANA es una experiencia interesante que debes realizar por lo menos una vez en tu vida. Las habitaciones son comodas, y depende mucho de cual en especial reserves. El Staff son como una familia que trabajan juntos buscando dar un servicio de excelencia para el huesped. Sin duda volveria a hospedarme ahi. Nosotros somos de México.

Charmosa hospedagem em El Vedado
O hotel está instalado em um casarão antigo, que teve a estrutura adaptada para receber turistas. O clima intimista dá a tônica de estar em uma pequena propriedade. Todas as concierges e funcionários que nos atenderam durante a nossa estadia foram extremamente solícitos e educados. Nossa suite era confortável e nos atendeu bem. Um dia apenas tivemos baixa vazão na água, mas não nos impediu de utilizar o banheiro.
