Stayed before and like the hotel. Fit for purpose and good value for a nights stay. Welcome not as good as usual, bit disappointing and didnt have a meal there as I usually do due to that fact.

Super friendly/helpful staff. Good selection of beers at the bar. Walls/decor would appreciate a bit a refresh but a great stay none the less. If staying for The Northern Traverse/Coast2Coast and planning onleaving super early, they can send you off with a basic take away breakfast but need to know a few days in advance.

I have stayed here a couple of times now for work, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the breakfast is always cooked just right. This stay it was rather warm and there is no air-conditioning, so i was given a room fan, not the most effective, but the thought and attention to detail was veryuch appreciated. Would i stay here again...... Yes

i was using this Hotel as a overnight stop before a early start on Saturday morning, the welcome was friendly and the staff was great however on checking in I was told that no staff would be available onsite after 11pm and if required anything a phone number would be on the reception desk. Food was good and accommodation was really clean and comfortable however at 4.30am the people occupying the room next to mine decided to return to the room and basically woke me up and chatted till 6:30am, because the walls are so thin it felt like we were all in the same room and I really hope the female found her lighter as it seemed to cause her great distress. If your lucky enough to get considerate people in the room next to yours then you will get a good nights sleep however i didn't and as no staff were on site nothing could be done.

Nice hotel, friendly staff breakfast okay but need to freshen teapot up more often. Room clean with comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room and a fan which was great as the room was warm, also had iron and ironing board in room if needed.

Absolutely tremendous stay. Visiting Whitehaven for the first time and loved the town and the hotel. Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast and the rooms were immaculate. Well done, I'll return.
