Had a great stay with a friend this weekend. All the hotel staff I encountered were kind and helpful. They were able to get us checked in early with an upgraded room. We got great treatments at the spa. Our room was beautiful and clean. We were given a ride in the house Audi. The staff was more than accommodating and gave great food recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful and new property! The staff were all super nice and courteous. The rooms are really nice and beautiful. The negatives were, our room door closed, but did not latch if you let it close on its own. You needed to pull on the door to get it to close and fully lock and secure the room. We booked dinner at the hotel restaurant Watr. We were not impressed with this venue. The staff were amazing but the venue itself is ALL outdoors. So, if you are dressed in a nice suit or dress, you will melt in this restaurant. They don’t have enough sun protection, making the venue really hot in the Texas heat. Im not sure what they will do in the winter…. !!CLOSE!!… The way its built, it would be hard to even add plastic walls to protect the customers. I feel bad for the bartender that work in this space… We started dinner there but moved to the other hotel restaurant, Altena. This venue was excellent! The food is on point and had a “real” restaurant feel.

I stayed here for work. At this price point, I expected the basics to be handled. They were not. On a busy Friday night, a bouncer-type staff member was posted near the elevators. When I walked up to go to my own room, he ushered me away. He did not ask if I was a guest or ask to see a key. He just assumed. The only explanation I can come up with is that he took one look at me and decided I did not look like someone who could afford to stay there. I was a paying guest coming back to my room after a work day, and I was treated like I was trespassing. The front desk was no better. When I raised my concerns, staff laughed at me sarcastically. I have never been laughed at by hotel staff for asking for help, at any price. I asked repeatedly for a memory foam pillow. The staff did not understand the difference between pillow types and kept giving me wrong information. The Director of Front Office later confirmed this in writing and said the team needs training on it. I had problems with the valet service as well. Then, after I specifically asked that no one come to my room, staff came to my room late at night anyway, the night before an early departure. I got very little sleep. I would have rested better at a $100-a-night hotel. After the stay, I asked for a manager to call me. Three days went by and no one called. When I finally got an email, it repeated my complaints back to me, apologized, and then declined a refund because I booked through a third party. It
