The hotel, located in Campo S. Sophia on the grand canal was a 15 minute walk to the train station to the North or 15 minute walk South to Saint Mark’s square. There is a water bus stop located just outside the front door of the hotel as well as water access for water taxies. The room was clean and quiet. We had a slight view of the grand canal from our bathroom. The ceiling was at least 16 feet tall and the decor is what was described as Venetian. There is a nice garden with a sitting area and a view of the grand canal out front of the main entrance to the hotel. The hotel is a nice quiet spot just 200 feet down an ally from the main street. The hotel staff were polite. The continental breakfast had a small variety of items and was perfect to fuel up your morning start your say in Venice !

I had no issues with the location, staff, and service. The room however was attic space converted into a room, with numerous issues, like it was hot in the room and the airconditioning was largely useless, some closet doors wouldn’t close, no lift to the your floor forcing you to carry your luggage up a winding staircase. Fortunately for us it was comfortable outside, and we could open the windows. However the bottom line is I won’t be coming back here. :( Of course this is only one room, and one experience, so you have to factor in cost versus all the other factors.

Excellent stay in Venice!
The Pesaro Palace was very nice! The room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The staff was friendly offering many recommendations and e cell ent directions. The Pesaro Palace was conveniently located to the grand canal, only minutes from the Rialto Bridge and about 20 minutes from SN Marco Square!

The property was in a great location, it had its own pier, was close to the water bus stop and in walking distance to restaurants and sites. The hotel had a lift and 24 hour reception which was handy. The feel, furniture and style of the hotel had a great feel and character. Our room was huge! Rooms are traditionally design , need little-bit of more improvement with built in amenities in rooms like usb or usb-c chargers as majority of the world uses iPhones. Staff is extremely hospitable . Location is excellent, very close & easy walk to boat dock for Murano & Burano visits , easy walk to Rialto bridge and St. Marks Sqr, excellent choice of restaurants and shopping.
