Not my scene.
A slightly rundown sleep factory on the Strip. Breakfasts pretty appalling at every level. I needed to stay in just that location, so did not have much choice. Overall, it probably does what it says on the tin.

2/10 Poor

If this is your only choice DO NOT Book it....
This hotel really needs to be reclassified, to Hostal rather than hotel. The whole hotel needed some tender loving care. We had booked quite a few months ago a double room, but when we arrived they said they only had a twin available. The room we had and that of another couple was appalling, for the high price we paid. The only thing that worked OK was the Air conditioning. The Showerhead faced the wall so you could not stand under it (I reported this to reception, but little they could do, they said) The bathroom in general was appalling, odd tiles, filled in holes... Only 1 usable plug socket in the room the other was for the TV. and Hairs from the cleaning staff where everywhere to be seen in the room. We had Bed and Breakfast and that was a cattle market with very very poor quality food and drink.

Value for money
For what I paid, value for money. Pros:Free breakfast and upgrade to Half Board for £2. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Close to beach. Room clean. Quiet. Cons: Shower, waste of time, connector on wall only allowed the wall to get wet. Only one English Channel on tv.

Simple but comfy stay
The hotel was part of a complex which included a larger hotel where meals were taken and entertainment was available. The entertainment was usually provided for the Spanish guests with one occasion when bingo was played. This didn't bother us but we could see how it might others. The food was ok with breakfast being the best meal but we always managed to eat something in the evening, although we did eat out on several evenings, we were there for 10 nights on a half board basis. The cleanliness was excellent in all areas and the staff were very obliging and friendly. We asked for more hangers and pillows and they were provided straight away. the place is dated but again that didn't bother us as we knew what to expect. The Cendrillon was clearly a 3* The Fuenguirolla park was we would say 3* plus as the food quality wasn't 4* barely 3*, in our experience. I would stay there again if the deal was right, but it would have to be competative.

Good location, family friendly
This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel within 3 months Easy to get to from the airport, 30 minutes train ride followed by a 5 minute walk. The beach is just across the main road so can be reached within minutes. There are small convenience stores close by should you need anything or forgot to take anything. Many restaurants to choose from. Where the hotel is, is in my opinion the quieter part of Fuengirola but if you want more night life it is either stop or two away by train or a 20 minute walk along the beach. The hotel staff are very friendly and do try and help out as much as possible. If you have a early check out but a late flight they will look after your luggage and then a room can be provided for you to shower and changed in. The breakfast offers a wide choice of hot and cold foods. The rooms are cleaned daily, however i think occasionally they forget to sweep under the bed. Free WiFi, the bar staff are very friendly. We did not look at any of the evening entertainment so unfortunately I can’t comment on those. The rooms have balconies and some have a great view of the sea.

Short stay in Malaga
As the price wasn't high, expectations weren't either, however this hotel was abovce expectations. The rooms were clean, although the bathrooms needed a little work. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar was well stocked and again the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet catered for everyone . I would recommend this hotel and will be going back The location was idea. 2 minutes from the beach and 25 to the local bus Station, the nearest train station from the airport was within a 5 minute walk. The pool was clean and the facilities to sit out in the sun were great.

not what it says on the tin...
I booked this hotel as I wanted to head down to Gibraltar and Fuengirola was the last train station down. The hotel is NOT I repeat NOT in Fuengirola, the nearest station to the hotel is Torreblanca which is 3 miles from Fuengirola. To be able to get to the public transport I had to get on the train again for 2 stops then find the bus station. I'm glad I only went for B&B rather than half board as I usually do as the breakfast was awful. Fatty bacon, cold cheap sausages.... I had a proper breakfast in a cafe before I went to Gibraltar. Hotel has an better day's..

Good location for trains and close to beech.
Good location to get to the airport and nearby resorts by the train. Rooms are a little dated but spotlessly clean. Food could have been warmer but there are microwaves and I had to warm all my food before I could eat it, but overall there was enough choice for our 3 day stay.

This was a nice hotel and just a short walk to the beach. There were a number of good restaurants locally and plenty to occupy during the short break we spent in Fuengirola.

Good location and very helpful and friendly staff
I found the hotel to be close to the beach and close to the train station which meant I could easily get to Malaga and the airport. The staff were very friendly always greeted you and whenever I had a question they always were very helpful. This hotel makes their guests feel very welcome.

2/10 Poor

Hotel was very disappointing the room was smelly
we arrived late evening, the room we was given was smelly with 3 single beds not a double bed which we had booked. I would have had to climb over the beds to get into bed.The bed covers were grubby and I would not have slept in them. No fridge,no balcony furniture ,no telephone all of which was stated on the booking. After complaing at reception which was just a wooden desk we were told this hotel never had fridges or minibars and it was not his problem they would try and get one but as there was only one plug we wouldn't be able to use the tv at the same time !!! As this was not appropriate and after showing the man behind the desk our booking information he sent us to Hotel Fuengirola Monarque after initially telling us they were fully bookedWe were given another room in that hotel. It was turned midnight when we finally settled into a room and we were both exhausted Not an ideal start to our holiday which was a special occasion.

A large well run establishment
We were travelling independantly but most of the clientele appeared to be from Spain, travelling in groups. The staff are very helpful with good language skills. The breakfast is excellent (included in our rate) with a vast choice of items and good coffee. We took dinner twice (not included for us) and the choice was just as good. It's quite an operation to serve so many people at one sitting but the staff managed it seemlessly. The indoor pool is good. There was some form of entertainment most nights. The location is good though at the end of the promenade - there is a train station a short walk uphill where can go the two stops to Fuengirola centre for a couple of Euros - walk back. A very enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend.
