We had a three-night reservation at the Astra. I informed them two days before our arrival the time we would arrive. I got a reply to the message that someone is waiting for us.
When we arrived as scheduled on Friday evening, they told they were overbooked. The owner offered us accommodation three kilometers from the center. I told them I wouldn't accept this, but they had no other choice. I didn´t accept it and because of that we had to find a new hotel for ourselves on Friday night at 10pm.
On Saturday we were able to check in to Astra. We were supposed to have a room that can fit three people, but the room was still a small room for two people. However, the worst thing was the accommodation was extremely poor. The toilet was supposed to be only our private use, but I noticed someone else use it too. Also, the bathroom was dirty and toilet seat was broken.
There were birds in a cage in the kitchen and there was no mention of this anywhere when I made the reservation. And I´m allergic to birds. The bar downstairs played music all night long. For these reasons we had to check out on Sunday and look for a new accommodation for one more night.
I have made a complaint, but Astra refuses to refund us anything.
