You get what you pay for
The staff was very friendly and made our check in comfortable. Our rooms were clean (but don’t look too closely) & quiet. Only heard kids upstairs while in bathroom one morning. The chargers are loose so Zi would suggest bringing your own ports.Also there were 3 of us staying in the room so we had the 2 queen beds. We were taking our 14 year old son to his first hockey game in Edmonton but only were given 2 breakfast vouchers for the 4 nights/ 3 days we were there. It is a good thing I’m not much of a breakfast person as this was a feature we looked for when booking. The last night, the fire alarm went off and every one went to the lobby. Thank goodness it was false as there was a snowstorm outside! It was hot in the elevator and also in our room but we had AC going as I would have melted. This is an older hotel and we liked the location as it fit the needs for our mini vacation in Edmonton so all I will say is you get what you pay for & we were happy with the price point.

House keeping
The service was amazing however i had house keeping walk in twice ( once i forgot to latch the door and second time they tried to come in hence the door latched ). Checkout was at 11 and they walked in at 10:30 and again 10:39. Very frustrating as this is a privacy breach and they didn’t knock or apologize. Walked in and seen us and walked out. Very unprofessional

Great room, great breakfast
We had a great 4 th floor room with an east view and (snow covered) balcony. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The hotel is being renovated so boxes are everywhere but did not affect our stay. We had our fill of a HOT buffet (five stars). I would recommend and go back again.

Extra made up charges
Stay was decent. 2 days after our stay, found an extra charge of $28 on our credit card. Called and was told it was for a pet fee. We never brought a pet. Unsure why they charged us for this or if they will even refund it. This will be a deciding factor if we ever stay here again

Horrible stay
Booked a pet friendly room for 3 nights. When I arrived at the property they could only give me 1 night! Dog pee on the bed skirt, front doors didn’t work and my husband was locked out and nobody answered the phone. We had no heat all night and when we called down they brought us an oscillating heater to heat the room. Absolutely nowhere for the animals to relieve themselves.

Wish the beds were more comfy
Hotel is being renovated and mostly new. We didn’t hear any noise from the Reno during our 3 night stay. Beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable, the room was clean besides the tub floor was really stained (could use some bleach) and it looked like blood splatter on the upper part of the wall by our bed. Pool was freshly renovated but the change rooms and pool areas aren’t, I couldn’t stay in the pool because it was so cold but I am sensitive to cold. My son didn’t mind it. Forgot to get a photo of the tub.

It’s just ok!
Older hotel that could be cleaner. Hairs on sheets and in the bathroom… but you could tell they tried! Blow dryer is screwed to the wall outside the bathroom (so no getting ready while my son sleeps). The Tv in 1/2 rooms did not work and there is no pay per view or smart tv options. Only 2 vouchers for breakfast provided for 4 people and they wouldn’t even let me get a coffee without going back to the front desk for a voucher…

Great Hotel, Great Price
The hotel is undergoing renovations, so there were boxes stacked in the lobby, but I did recieve an updated hotel room so I am very happy. Breakfast was better than last time I stayed, eggs, ham, tater tots, and coffee was always full. Staff in the breakfast room were really good as well as the staff member that checked me in. I am happy with my stay, and it will be that much better once renovations are complete.
