Beautiful hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Casa de Las Artes. It was Easter weekend and I was welcomed with a special Easter dessert treat, a very nice touch. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are decorated very well and comfortably. It is in walking distance to Plaza Mayor, the Prado and many restaurants and shopping. Great stay!

Great gem of a hotel near city center

Gorgeous hotel, great for a couple or anyone really. The search options make it hard to tell but has a steak room and sauna, and all the spaces are stunning including the main dining hall. Very Comfortable luxurious beds, great kindness and attentiveness by staff. Happy to return!

Never again

The hotel looks great on the inside—the interior design is modern and well done, which is the only real highlight. Unfortunately, the stay itself was disappointing. The room had an awful view and was not properly cleaned. Towels were missing, and basic amenities weren’t stocked. Breakfast was well below standard for a 4-star hotel: very limited variety, poor food quality, and inattentive staff. Overall, the experience did not match the price tag. The hotel has potential but needs serious improvements in cleanliness, service, and food quality.

Personal impertinente y en el restaurante.

El hotel es bonito, nuevo y con gusto. La recepcionista nos habló y contó las virtudes del desayuno y nos convenció para cogerlo. A la mañana siguiente fue una tremenda decepción. No había nadie para darte la bienvenida y cuando al pasar 20 minutos vinieron a nuestra mesa a atendernos no nos ofrecieron el plato caliente que incluía el desayuno. Cuando fuimos a comentárselo al camarero nos respondió de manera bastante impertinente que deberíamos haber esperado (20 minutos) a que nos sentaran. Personalmente considero que es una salida de tono terrible e impertinente. Cuando fuimos a hablarlo en recepción nos dijeron que “darían parte al departamento de calidad”. No volveré a alojarme en el hotel y tampoco lo recomendaré. Y me pensaré si alojarme en un hotel de Melia de nuevo. Por cierto, el resto del bufet de desayuno bien normalito. Desde luego no vale los 30€ que pague por el.

Una experiencia inolvidable en Casa de las Artes! El hotel es precioso, con una decoración cuidada y una atmósfera acogedora, pero lo que realmente hizo nuestra estancia especial fue el restaurante y, en particular, el excelente servicio de Tahi. Desde el primer momento fue amable, atenta y muy profesional. Nos atendió con una sonrisa, nos recomendó platos deliciosos y se aseguró de que todo estuviera perfecto durante nuestra comida. Además, fue tan generosa que nos dio varias recomendaciones increíbles para conocer Madrid como locales. Gracias a Tahi y a todo el equipo por hacer de nuestra visita algo tan especial. ¡Volveremos sin duda!

Lovely hotel with brilliant helpful staff and a lovely library/bar/restaurant. Easy to walk everywhere in around 15-30 mins. The communal areas were very nice, but we found the areas with the rooms to be quite basic. Our room wasn’t the cleanest and there were even a couple of rose petals in random places in the room from last guest which was a bit odd. You can also hear a lot of noise from people in hallway from room and we were woken up by a big group of people opposite playing music and going in and out of room numerous times. But overall we still had a nice time!

Location: Perfectly situated near Gran Vía, the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, San Miguel Market, and more — all within easy walking distance. Customer Service: Outstanding service from start to finish. Every detail, from the thoughtful touches in the room to attraction bookings through the concierge, made for a wonderful experience. Rooms: Cozy, with comfortable beds and immaculate cleanliness. Overall: Highly recommend — we would definitely stay here again!

Centrally located and situated outside a metro station. Very walkable to the main sites in the city. The hotel is modern, stylish and clean, arty in design. The room had all the mod cons, clean and new, slightly on the smaller side. All staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. We only dined in the restaurant for breakfast which had everything you needed for the day ahead, although we felt there could have been more of a selection given the amount of space in the breakfast room which you would expect from this type of hotel (eg no baked beans, no salads etc). The gym had basic yet new equipment to keep moving during our break . We didn't use the spa/pool during our time, however it looked clean and inviting which we would have used had we stayed longer. We travelled as a couple. Would recommend.
