We checked into the hotel — at first it seemed there were no available rooms, but at the same time, there were almost no guests inside. We usually like the Marriott chain, but this hotel is clearly not part of it. Breakfast was advertised as included, but in fact, it was not. Some guests were offered water at check-in, but we weren’t.
We got lucky with the room view — it faced the pool. The hotel itself is quite old: the furniture and carpets have a noticeable smell. The mini-fridge could only fit a couple of bottles of water and a sandwich. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the mechanism for filling the tub was broken. There was no microwave or anything else in the room — and this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel...
From my experience, I would rate it 3 stars or less, though maybe I’m being subjective. Either way, I wouldn’t stay here again.
