Good location in old Havana for sightseeing around the old city. The area felt safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you have a room in the main house be prepared for it to be very noisy in the morning as the rooms open up directly into the dining room. The complimentary water/coffee/tea/juice are a nice touch.

This property is not a traditional Casa it is a fully commercial concern with 2 annexes which are both a short walk from reception. It was useful to have a 24 hour front desk and one of the receptionists spoke perfect English and provided a lot of useful information. One of the annexes was opposite a very noisy bar which was open well into the early hours of the morning. The other annex was a building site with workers making noise from 8am.

We had a 3 night stay here, found it clean and comfortable. Good location to walk to Old Havana, the Malecon and everything we needed. Havana is obviously is a bad state at the moment, but it still felt safe in the area. Staff were very helpful and friendly, they explained how Cuba functions and helped us arrange onward travel. We would stay again.

Everything is relative. If you're looking for a touristy area that caters to your every need then Havana in general isn't the place. But the people are amazing and there are tons of little adventures to get into around here!

The staff Karla and teddy and maids cook all great you get a lot for what you pay for £11-22 a night at time of stay. HOWEVER. The casa isn't just one house there's like 5-7 of them? There's a main house for breakfast but I had to move to 3 random houses all 3-5 mins walk away from the main house. No WiFi the locks and keys didn't work mostly someone opened the door but sometimes I'd ring for a few mins outside no soap in the bathroom bedrooms are a little run down outlets didn't work often but worst of all is the area outside it's dirty a lot of garbage creepy men standing outisde staring at you and cat calling the advert claims it's the most popular area to walk around in but they tell you not to walk around at night and keep your phone in your hand. There's also no resteraunts so better stay in old town. The breakfasts and dinner you pay for and wifi but portions and food is v good so I'd recommend. Staying here you get a authentic experience over a hotel hut don't have super high expectations for the area

Main house has all the facilities but gets very noisy, as guests from all other houses come and hangout here. Wish they provided a soap in the washrooms. That’s very basic, required to wash hands after the toilets.

David et son personnel sont très accueillants. Le service est impeccable. Ils sont à l’écoute et donne de bons conseils. Les repas sont copieux. Notre chambre était très propre. Très bon emplacement. Nous recommandons fortement.

Cons: -Moldy smell in my room. -Clogged wash basin but fixed after telling. -No soap in the bathroom. -Not proper laundry of my clothes. -One night I wasn't given the option of choosing my dinner but the next guy was. -No eggs on the breakfast buffet, you should order them but no information about it. Pros: -Cleanliness. -Helpful english speaking polite staff. -Comfortable spacious room. -Free bottled water in the kitchen. -Nice communal living area. -Lobster at dinner is amazing.

Great stay, fantastic service
Property is really great. It’s located in the Habana Center (not Old Habana), so get ready to walk a lot or get a cab. Place itself is nice and clean and very authentic, I loved the esthetic. Stuff is very very helpful, they easily figured out my check in and check out issues (my flight was delayed), taxis, money exchange. Check in and check out policy is very flexible and guest friendly, which was a lifesaving for me. Food is also great. They offer lobster for 10 usd and let me tell you - it was fresh and delicious lobster. Room is clean and comfortable, a/c works, wi-fi works (just a dollar a day). I’m very happy with my choice and definitely be coming back in case I’m in Habana again.
