First, I wanted to get my check-in 3 1/2 stars because the guest service person was professional, but a little indifferent after I requested a different room. Second, the furnishings are older and starting to wear and should possibly be replaced. I bring my cleaning supplies so I can go over things that are typically missed in cleaning. Third, the room was very clean! However, the door to the room definitely needs to be worked on, it had/has gaps that gave me a feeling of not being as safe. Fourth, the area/location is changing and more undesirable situations have become more frequent (I’ve been staying at this hotel when I’m in the area since 2017). I think there is security (I know it was last year), but not sure now. Fifth, checkout was positive. And last (and not positive), while in the room where the continental breakfast is offered, the attendant was cleaning, she dropped the cloth that she was using on her shoe and floor, without hesitation, picked it up and continued to wipe the waffle maker, and other items without ever washing or getting another cloth— that is so unsanitary, and a very big turn off!!
