"The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"We stayed one night at Tante Arlette and got a warm welcome and a drink. We had booked a superior room, but were a bit disappointed that it had no external window. The cleaning was also not perfect and there were spots on the madrass. Otherwise the room was ok. We decided to eat at the hotel but were surprised when the food arrived before we had selected from the menu. Apparently what we would eat was decided for us. That said, it tasted great. "The property and the grounds were lovely. A couple things: there was no cleaning service the entire week we were there. They were very rigid on what hours you could eat and where. The staff was very pleasant and tried to be accommodating. Dinners were buffet style. We were the only Americans in the place. Everyone else was from France. "

"Quiet, a bit dated. The beach was closed off from the hotel because it was "broken", so we were told. But you could get to it by walking through the town a ways. There was a great pâtisserie across the street, and a small grocery store was next door, both very convenient. There was a small kitchenette on the balcony of our room which was nice to keep food cold and heat stuff up in the microwave. Staff was great, tho some did not speak English, thank goodness for Google Translate. Pool was nice...

Nous choisissons toujours la masterpool qui permet le dépaysement. Nous aimons le petit-déjeuner bien servi et la terrasse du restaurant. Le diner est toujours parfait. Le personnel est agréable et bienveillant. "
