Just sharing our experience & observation. We (4pax) checked in to Suasana Suites Hotel Johor Bahru along Jalan Trus on 21/06/2024, Friday. Upon check-in, we realized that only 1 guest lift, out of the 4, is working. There was a notice at the frontdesk dated 11/06/2024, informing that all 4 guest lifts are out of order & only the service lift was available. With 1 guest lift & 1 service lift available at the point of our check-in, we took an average of 40mins to wait for either lift. 2nd guest lift was up & running on 23/06/2024. This incident had compromised our experience with the hotel. There was no effort made for service recovery. The room itself was poorly maintained. Clothes holder behind bathroom door was loose, towel rack was loose, bathroom tap fell off, kitchen tap was leaking, toilet roll holder was loose, cockroach in the living room. We stayed at Level 29, we were able to hear the music from Lepak Corner quite clearly till wee hours on Friday & Saturday. In the morning, the construction sound started as early as 8am. This is my second time here. The first time was in Aug 2023 and I had a good experience- bed was comfortable and room was clean. But I can’t say the same this time round. I will think twice about booking this hotel again.
