Trevlig personal, bra frukost, rent och fräscht. Enda minuset är att ventilationen var lite dålig i mitt rum och det gav en lite unken lukt. Inget ovanligt för så gamla byggnader.

We had a beautiful room with corner windows and a view of the water on the third floor. The breakfast was amazing each day with a large variety of fresh food to choose from. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with a few things that we requested. The location is great and easy walking everywhere. It was nice to have an elevator for our luggage. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is undeniably pretty and located in a charming area, which made exploring the neighborhood very enjoyable. However, the room itself left a lot to be desired. It was extremely small, and the bathroom setup was quite awkward — the shower was essentially just a tiled section next to the toilet with a curtain separating the two. When not in use, the curtain actually rested on the toilet, which felt far from ideal. My boyfriend and I are both over 6 feet tall and felt very cramped in some areas with the low ceilings and archways. We were placed in a first-floor room, which unfortunately meant a lot of noise. Every morning around 6 a.m., we were woken up by garbage trucks or street sweepers, and pedestrian noise continued throughout the day and night. To make matters worse, our room was right next to the elevator, so we heard it (and other guests using it) at all hours of the night. While the location and aesthetic have potential, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for peace and quiet or a more spacious and comfortable room.

This was my favorite hotel of our trip! We asked for and got a room facing the water and had a beautiful view. Our room was decorated with regal style drapes and felt luxurious. The breakfast was excellent and had lots of choices for varied diets. The staff was great too!

Såg väldigt bra recensioner av hotellet och hade förväntningar på ett bra hotell. Tyvärr var det inte så. Rummet hade väldigt dålig luft, det kändes instängt och det var väldigt dåligt inrett. Med tanke på att jag betalade 2800kr för rummet var jag väldigt besviken. Såg även väldigt bra recensioner på frukosten, en av de två anledningarna till varför jag bokade detta hotell, men vart besviken även där. Frukosten var i högsta grad helt okej. Var inte ens värt att ta bilder på rummet eller hotellet. Ville lyxa till det till min sambos födelsedag men vart bara besviken, kommer inte rekommendera hotellet till någon. Personalen var snäll, åtminstone en positiv sak

We were traveling with our son. We got a large room with an additional bed for him, this is one of the rooms they highlight as it has a wall decoration from the late 1600s. The room was a last-minute booking and crazy expensive at about $750 per night, but we thought OK it's a high-class hotel. Turns out it isn't. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the hot breakfast was good, although missing any espresso (filtered coffee only), and we got a late checkout (13:00). Bathroom in our large room was absolutely tiny - shower water sprayed the entire tiny floor and toilet seat. All plumbing and electrical was external. It's an old building, I get it, but the room felt cheap because of it. Room was very cold when we arrived (mid May, weather was mild). Only one of three radiators had been turned on before our arrival. With hotel assistance, all were turned to max and it was OK although that first evening we thought it would be too cold. When I asked for an iron and ironing board, I was told I could pick it up any time I liked. I said we were leaving for the evening and I would need it tomorrow morning, front desk reiterated that I could pick it up at the front desk when needed. Not the type of service I expect at a 4-star hotel - I would have expected them to offer to bring it to the room while we were away so it would be ready the morning after. Most of the other staff we interacted with was trying their best though, and were helpful and friendly.
