Overall a pleasant stay
I stayed in Hoxton Williamsburg for one night during my layover. I chose it because I liked going to the Hoxton in Southwark London haha.
The overall experience was ok. The common area is beautiful and comfortable. Free coffee and tea by reception. Super nice decor. There’s a coffee shop and bar in the lobby too with very nice aesthetics.
The room was quite small - which wasn’t a big problem for me since I didn’t really need to unpack. The furnitures were SUPER nice and elegant. I loved the colour scheme of mg room - very calming. The view from my window was very nice. I was on the fifth floor, just enough to see the skyline. Amazing both during the day or at night.
The door to the shower is a bit awkward as it opens outward. And water gets out quite easily. I took one shower and the bathroom floor became quite slippery afterwards.
I also never got my breakfast. There was a breakfast bag provided where you can indicate for how many people and what time you would like to have it. I indicated that I would like it at 7am. I waited from 7-9 am, nothing ever arrived… Afterwards I had to go catch my flight. I’m just very confused by how the breakfast system works. I did see breakfast provided for other rooms.
