For the price, it was exemplary. Nice rooms, good location, helpful, if somewhat overbearing, staff.

This was a great hotel in the middle of down town. It was close to everything and had a great staff that went out of there way to make sure you are taken care of. I would definitely stay hear again.

Untrustworthy, rude manager.
I PAID and reserved 2 weeks in advance for this hotel. When I arrived they said I had to go to another hotel for 1 day as they where full (and I should pay) Even though I showed them my PAID and GUARANTEED confirmation. I still had to leave. When I returned on the 3rd day , They kicked me out even though I had paid in full 14 days in advance.

A very well designed, organized and immaculately clean hotel. We had a couple of minor issues which were remedied immediately. The front desk staff were committed and professional and helped us out as needed. I would return!

Food Poisoning. Bad Service. Stay Away.
Stay well clear. My wife and I both had food poisoning from their breakfast and that ruined our stay and the rest of our holiday. The manager was very apologetic when I became ill saying it has never happened before but on the day of our departure my wife suffered food poisoning from breakfast too. Apologies and offers of tea etc are very nice but I urge the hotel to overhaul its food hygiene for the safety of other visitors.
It doesn't stop there. Before we fell ill on the day we arrived, I booked a tour to the Blue Nile Falls. We were collected 1 hour late in a minibus with 1.5 seats allocated for the two of us for the 2 hour journey. The bus's windscreen was completely cracked and the driver spent the first 30 minutes trying to find petrol. Worst of all, we were told to walk 1 km to our hotel when dropped off. We refused to get out of the car. For a tour booked through any hotel, this is a disgrace. I urge the hotel manage to use a reputable tour operator.
The room had a mosquito net with holes in and an air conditioner which didn't work. We complained when discovering this on our first evening but we told we could not change rooms until the following day. That night was extremely uncomfortable. The manager changed our room the following day and told us we had one of the fully functional ones. I would expect that for its prices, all rooms would be fully functional.
So upset that the Rahnile completely spoilt our holiday. Stay away at all costs.

Clean room and great location
Positive:
The hotel is located in a relatively central area, room was very clean, staff were accomodating. Although breakfast included only already ready coffee, they were kind enough to serve me specially oredered macchiato from downstairs. This is a reasonably priced hotel that I would be happy to go back again.
Needs Improvement:
Curtain in the room did not cover the entire glass window. As a result, incoming light makes it impossible to sleep after 5:00am. Although I am not sure if it is hotel only issue or is a general service provider problem, Internet was practically non-existent anywhere including the hotel lobby. Breakfast service could be improved. Quality of the towels needs improvement.
