Location brilliant. Hard to find initially it needs a proper sign outside. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean and was well serviced daily. Breakfast was nextdoor and was ok but empty serving dishes were not replaced quickly and the bread was dry.

OK but no more.

It was a strange hotel. Not really a hotel, more like a number of random rooms. The minute you walk into the extremely anonymous entrance (which was a bit hard to locate), you are thinking ”what the H did we get into?” But the host was very friendly and gave a lot of advice on what to see and do. The room was OK, but not really more. A bit wonky to be honest, sorry to say. I payed about €1100 (in late October) for two rooms for to nights, I was expecting more to be honest.

This property was horrible, falling apart no maintenance, no proper access to the reception area , we had to bang at a door that looked like the medieval times , no one answered . I had to call and let them know you’re trying to get to check in and finally opened the door. The hairdryer looks like a CPAP machine, no toilet paper , no one at the reception , It was one night ( thank God) .. if you book this place book it at your own risk , I don’t understand how Expedia offers this place .. the pictures on web are false advertising…,

The property was really well located 2 minutes walk from the Duomo. Really nice breakfast included in a restaurant next door. There is a small front desk however when we were there there was no one there. We received clear instructions on how to get there and get in. There was a foul odor of drainage during our stay it appears it was a general problem in downtown Florence. Our room smelled also, we contacted the administration and we were moved to a nearby property.
