Great One-night stay
We stayed one night on a Saturday. We arrived late and were worried about the late checkout. Luckily, there was still someone at the desk and we had done the pre-check-in. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were travelling as a family of 4. Important to note that the bathroom doesn’t have a flexible shower hose but a fixed one. Not practical at all when trying to wash small kids.

Decent stay close to Brands Hatch.
Nice well presented room and a decent breakfast. Bar/restaurant attached was great too. All staff were lovely.

Bar could do better
They hotel was ok service considering is a 3star, but the breakfast was cold not worth the money paid for and glasses in the bar were not well cleaned, the gentleman in bar quiet poor manners if customer address issue

English Breakfast in a pub (about £9 per person)
Our room (ground floor) was big enough, clean and comfortable. We added Breakfast when checked in and paid about £9 per person. English breakfast buffet at the pub was delicious. You have to go to the building next to the hotel, it’s only less than a minute walk. It’s a bit tricky in the rainy day but then it’s not that close to the hotel so we have quieter room. We stayed in this hotel before, it was our first time using a ground floor room. We can’t hear the outside sound BUT sadly there are kids above us who jumping and banging, they made loud banging sounds until about 1am. Sadly their parents didn’t say anything or they were in a different room or in the pub?! We understand, it is not the hotel fault and because it’s already very late, there’s no telephone in the room and can’t go out with pyjamas. We didn’t complaint immediately because we didn’t want to take a chance incase upstairs people disturb us even more. Perhaps the hotel staff should use ground floor rooms for guests with small children. In overall we always use this hotel and we love this hotel and will come back. Hopefully we can get a better neighbour next time.

Uncomfortable stay
We stayed at spring river Ebbsfleet on 16/12/24 after visiting relatives down in Sussex we stayed at this hotel as it was near Bluewater shopping centre to visit the following day to do Christmas shopping Hotel was ok chose twin beds as I was staying with my daughter but they were the most uncomfortable beds ever seemed tiny and neither of us slept well on arrival there wasn’t much of a greeting because bookings are done online I had been over charged yet had no help from reception told to speak with hotels.com which I did and got it resolved you are told to enter car details into the parking monitor in reception which I did yet have now received a parking fine ! Obviously I have disputed this and giving the parking company my booking details yet not had an update clearly the parking machine in reception must be faulty as I know my details were entered correctly disappointing all round with this trip and not sure if I would return due to the hassle involved

A reasonable stay
We were mostly happy with our stay, the room was clean and the majority of staff were pleasant and helpful. There were two days where the room was not cleaned but I expect this was due to staff taking time off over Christmas, it did not really inconvenience us. The biggest issue we had was on two occasions despite the premises being listed as non smoking, there was a smell of cigarette smoke drifting into our room from the corridor. The person on duty did not seem too interested and all they could do was offer to provide us with an air freshener. I also emailed Marston's regarding this issue but as I have not heard back from them, I presume they are somewhat disinterested in the issue also.
