dont go there!!!!!
it was terrible! the guy could not find our reservation even we showed all papers. room was so dirty and full of spiders. there was only one electiricity working so not all of us even were able to charge our phone batteries. bahtroom was like from 1900's and water heating was not working properly- too cold or too hot not setting available- towels were yellowish and bed sheets had many stains.... it took 5 hours for reception guy to arrange a taxi for us to airport and then coming one was not even a proper taxi who charges us 3 times more than the real cost! we trusted brand name of crown plaza and it was the hughest disappointment. please do not go there. even location- seems like the only advantage- sucks because its close to airport in terms of distance but in a slum district which looks and feels very unsafe!

ok för en natt, billigt, men inte bra städat
Vi bodde en natt för en transfer. Rummet var inte ordentligt städat tyvärr. Badrummet framförallt var inte helt fräscht. Men vi sov och det var billigt, så ändå ok bara för en övernattning. Men det var onödigt att inte göra ordentligt rent, då det drog ned helhetsintrycket. Däremot väldigt trevligt bemötande från personalen!

Very disappointing. Not what we expected from information given before we booked . No one about when we arrived very late, although we had sent messages to that effect and information said open 24 hours! Bathroom not very clean and place was really run down

Not the Crowne Plaza you're thinking of.
This is our first visit to Sri Lanka. I booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport for a late night arrival. There was a staff member on site to give us keys to the room. It was Saturday night. You expect noise as you're near to the airport, but I didn't expect the loud drum and bass from nearby, or the regular loud motorcycles. The room was basic and clean. When I booked, it said breakfast was included. There were no staff around in the morning. I appears that there is an open air eating area on the roof, so we went up there. There were 3 people who informed us there was no breakfast. Couldn't recommend it.

A eviter , j’ai déjà donné un avis sur la chambre ! La salle de bains porte bien son nom ! Il y a des fuites , cela coule sur la tête , la nuit quand vous devez aller aux toilettes vous avez en prime un bain de pied ! Cela doit faire un moment car il y a une paire de tongs à l’entrèe !

Para cobrir uma escala de 12 horas ok!
Tínhamos uma escala de 12 horas em Colombo, estávamos vindo de Maldivas e indo para Dubai! Como estávamos bem cansados , precisávamos de um local apenas para dormir e descansar aquela noite ! Então foi o hotel custoxbeneficio mais próximo do aeroporto. Na verdade , são varios apartamentos. Nós chegamos bem tarde pois o voo atrasou , e demos sorte que o cara do táxi nos esperou na porta , pois não tinha ninguém na recepção e não havia nenhuma campainha , mas o táxi ligou e a pesso apareceu. Aí entramos , o quarto estava limpo, tinha uma garrafa de água , o banheiro era grande , também estava limpo. A cama era ok, tinha ar condicionado , ou seja, para nosso propósito atendeu bem! Mas jamais para nós hospedar mesmo na cidade. O local onde ele fica é terrível ! Parecia que não existia nadando por ali, mas no final deu certo! Como a ideia era apenas uma noite de sono, nos atendeu sim! Dica : mesmo para sair do hotel para dormir , precisamos do visto para siri lanka.
