I just stayed here for four days/three nights, and it was great! The location is really convenient. There is a bus stop across the street for both the airport bus as well as the various tours, making it really easy to use those. It’s walkable, too, with a lot of stuff with a few minutes’ walk.
The breakfast buffet was good, and the bakery on site is delicious! Between the kleinur and creme brulee donuts, I was in Heaven! The restaurant is pretty good, too.
The room was great! European rooms are smaller than their American counterparts, but it was still spacious enough with a large rack to hang stuff. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was good. The shower had a rainfall head and was fairly enclosed. A pet peeve of mine is European showers that only have a partition that goes halfway or no lip on the floor, so water kinda goes everywhere. Not a problem here.
Finally, I got in really early, hours before check-in, but they were still able to get me into a room, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This is one of my all-time favorite hotels, and I absolutely would stay here again.
