Staying two nights in the Penthouse suite Salz, we found the view was fantastic and location good. However, the room is weirdly designed for lack of basic facilities (no luggage rack, no closet ) The kitchen looks good, but hard to use. It’s equipped with lots of cookware, stove, dishwasher, etc, but the preparation area is such tiny space on top of the sink. The major light on the ceiling in the cooking area is broken and covered , so it’s not bright enough.(One floor lamp in the living room is not working either). NO indoor slippers and bathrobes are provided but one MUST take off shoes inside the house. Daily cleaning is superficial.(For example, bathtub was used the first night, but obviously has not been cleaned next day) Toiletries were not resupplied, either. Are two people expected to rely on one tiny bottle of shower gel, shampoo, and lotion (all 35 ml only) for two nights' stay? Since this is a small operation, the person on duty (who supposedly stays from morning till 10 PM) can be reached through FB, email, and phone call. Interestingly, there’s no landline/telephone, foreign travelers have to use their cell phones. Overall, this is a lovely property with some luxurious items (Jacuzzi and sound system), but fails to attend to something really basic (amenities and service ). The stay is absolutely not worth the price (over 1400 euro) (not to mention the shared shuttle service by hotels in that area to/from the parking lot was very crowded, not a good experience)
