Could be better
When we arrived, there was a big leak in our room. Instead of giving us the next available room, they made us wait for a very long time to try to clean up this room with a leak. We had traveled for 24 hours with our little girl who is six years old. We were tired and it was getting late. After they made us wait for close to one hour with multiple workers coming to clean the leaked water, finally then they said to give us an empty room. Perhaps they could have offered us that sooner. I don’t know the reason, maybe they expected to clean the room faster. We came during Christmas week, so maybe they were understaffed, because it was hard to find people to get pool towels, and the front office was usually closed. Also, our room was only cleaned once when we stayed for five days. I think they probably have better service when it is not Christmas week. The location is nice and overall the place is a good deal. I think they have potential to be much better. Simple things like keeping the pool cleaner or have more lights around the pool, and having pool towels available more often. It was 3 PM in the afternoon and no one was available when many guests looked for pool/beach towels; they said we had to return to the front office in the morning for towels. But in the morning, nobody was at the front office.

I have stayed here a few times before and loved the property but this time the bed bugs ate me alive and it was so miserable. I got married and was staying there for part of our honeymoon. It really made me change where I am going in the future as me and my husband travel there a few times during the year. We thought this was a place we could frequent but we will not ever be staying here again. I am afraid I will be attacked again. I was literally covered from neck to foot in large red itchy bumps. I had to spray my own room and stay off of the couch where I believed them to be. So sad because this property is beautiful and in a perfect spot.

Beachfront Stay with Mixed Impressions
Check-in and check-out were efficient, though the luggage assistant left a poor impression—he gave me the wrong internet password and didn’t respond when I pointed it out. The apartment itself was showing its age, but it was clean, spacious, and generally comfortable. The rate seemed more about paying for the beach location than the condition of the property or the amenities, which felt a bit overpriced. I also had some safety concerns, as it seemed easy to access the apartment without a key, although I didn’t encounter any issues. Overall, it’s a place that may appeal to some but disappoint others, depending on expectations and perspective.
