Stayed Aug 9–11, 2025. From night one, my first room (1514) had broken AC (75–77°F), dirty toilet seat, loose toilet, fruit flies, broken fridge (replaced that night). Maintenance wasn’t available until the next day to fix the AC.
Moved to 1510 (smaller room, no compensation) – pest resembling bed bug or cockroach, blood clot in bathroom, crumbs in mattress frame, filthy headboard.
Moved to 1210 – stained bedding (waited over an hour for replacement), filthy/non-working fridge, fruit flies, dirty headboard. All 3 rooms had visibly filthy headboards.
On checkout morning, fire alarm went off at 8:26 AM with no explanation. I’m recovering from a broken leg/ankle and had to move rooms 3 times without ADA accommodation.
Manager on-site offered to refund only 1 night. I filed a BBB complaint and contacted 3 Choice Hotels executives. Only after that did I receive confirmation of a full refund, plus an additional goodwill offer of 20,000 Choice Privileges points from Executive Support.
While I appreciate the final resolution, it required unnecessary effort and escalation. The property failed to meet basic cleanliness and service standards. I will not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.
