Booked for 4 nights, family of 3 adults. Checked in ok, we needed to eat quite early (5pm) and get out at 6pm for the Coldplay concert. We could not get any food at the hotel, after asking at reception and trying room service there was nothing available. The thing with the hotel being so isolated it is not easy to go out and get a quick bite, so zero stars for that.
Our room on floor 24 is incredibly noisy due to an ill fitting window, you can hear everything outside. It’s been reported but 3 days later no action noted.
The shower is terrible and broke as soon as my wife tried it. I managed to repair it but the knob that came off is still very fragile, we have been using the hand held unit.
Pool bar service. The 3 of us sat for 30 mins, no service. My Son got up and brought drinks from the bar and was told there’s waiter service! Ha! I drank my drink looked round for a waiter… went to the bar only to be told there’s water service! Needless to say I told the 3 girls (waitresses) I’ve been here 50 mins you have come nowhere near me or my family, to which I got back “oh” no apologies or “ sit back down I’ll be right there” I then bought drinks and sat in my spot. The pool waiter then proceeded to ignore us for the next hour but served everyone else. My wife and I thought we would go to the rooftop bar and have a drink. Walked in and sat at one of the numerous vacant tables. 10 minutes passed and a waitress approached and asked if we had been in that bar before, we replied no. We
