For a high-end resort, very disappointed and did not feel it was worth the price at almost $1000/night.
We came for our 25th anniversary and wanted to splurge by staying at a high-end resort. With the high cost, we were expecting such better treatment and were very disappointed.
The grounds were very nice and well cared for, the pools were nice and clean. The breakfast was great and the food at the restaurants for dinner was very good. Housekeeping staff kept the room clean and tidy. There were several nice people working at the resort.
Problems started with our check-in, no info on the resort was provided, no welcome packet with info of the property, nothing about the resort and what it had to offer, we were given our keys, walked to our room and left to figure it out on our own.
The room was nice but clearly needed a refresh; rust, cracked tiles, in need of a coat of paint, & dirty rugs. Our garden view room was a giant hedge, no view, none of this is what you would expect from a luxury resort.
When we dined for breakfast every morning, had dinner at both Sui Ren and the Almond Tree. The food was very good.
The overall service was extremely low. Searching for servers, spoken to very rudely and treated as though we were bothering them. The receptionist at the Spa was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I have been to several resorts in the Caribbean, and this was one of the most disappointing. I have had better treatment for a lot less $$
