Highly recommended for Anton Valley
Great location close to town. Spacious and well appointed room with a very comfortable bed and modern and clean bathroom. Excellent setting and ambiance with lush gardens and wonderful views of the mountains. Very good restaurant. Would definitely recommend. Antonio at the front desk gave professional and friendly service all around and Carina at the restaurant was fast and courteous.

Prachtig hotel met fijn zwembad. Kamer was heel ruim met balkon. Gratis parkeren en leuke bar/restaurant. Waterdruk in de douche is laag, maar wel warm water.

Very nice hotel in Anton valley. Walkable to a very charming little town and nestled in a beautiful area. Mountains are beautiful and everywhere you look. Good restaurant and great service. Very friendly staff.

Great scenery around the hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Frog Inn. The hotel was comfortable and clean. There were a wide variety of beautiful flowers, trees and plants. The backdrop of the mountains made it a lovely place to relax. The hotel is also close to many activities.

What a paradise we found at the Golden Frog. We were greeted with a welcome drink and escorted to our room which overlooked a rain forest. Butterflies and hummingbirds everywhere. The sounds of nature rivaled a BBC documentary. The pool was a little cool but felt great after being hot in the Panama rain forest. The property was extremy clean and the the staff very helpful and available. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Amazing place
We spent a couple days in el Valle, this hotel is highly recommended, it was so relaxing and stunning views. The staff was excellent and the room was very modern and comfortable, we selected the Mountain View room, we can not wait to return for another stay.

This is a very nice place staffed by some of the best people I have encountered anywhere. I had room #1 with a kitchen which I wasn't expecting and barely used except for the fridge. This room was a bit more of a showplace than a functional room because while there were 2 small tables; one that I used as a desk had display items on it like 2 big plates and another thing that I had to put in the closet so I could use it pulled over to the bed to sit on - no chair. (I was told later that they could have brought me a chair.) The pool looked nice, although I didn't use it. The breakfast was very nice indeed and was ordered from a menu giving lots of choices. I had a rental car so most nights I went to town for dinner but the one night I did eat there, I was unimpressed with the food, service was fine. I think the girls were happy that I tried to use my limited Spanish with them & they all spoke very good English with those that didn't try.

We only spent one night in The Golden Frog but we really enjoyed our limited time there. The hotel staff was friendly, the food at the restaurant was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. Bonus points for our balcony with beautiful views of the lush surroundings and the cute dogs and cats on the grounds.

Charming inn in El Valle
The golden frog inn is nothing short of absolutely charming. I was there with my parents, my husband and my kids and it was delightful. The food was great, the views were spectacular and the folks who work there are lovely.

Absolute gem of a hotel in nature!
Absolute gem of a hotel in nature. The foliage keeps privacy and beauty. The staff are wonderful. The food was excellent. The room was modern and clean. Nice bedding, soft luxurious towels. Mini-fridge was a plus. We loved it so much we booked an additional night.
