The room itself smelt musty like it hadn't been aired for some time. Turning the AC on before us entering made it worse.
The main bedroom was clean enough. The bathroom hadn't been done and we needed a new toilet seat as there were stains left on it. We seemed to be the only people staying in our set of rooms so it was quiet. There was no food being prepared and there was nowhere to get food nearby.
We overheard a couple getting a taxi into town which was going to cost 250thb for 1 way.
This is a strange place. It is set on a very nice large property that is about a 35 minute drive from downtown Ubon Ratchathani. It doesn’t seem to be near any other main destination.
Pros
Rooms are very clean and look like the photos on description
The rooms and bath are nice in layout and size
The property is set in a natural environment and is quiet from outside noise
Cons
Rooms are very cheaply constructed with no soundproofing so you hear everything from other rooms and parking outside
No amenities like WiFi, soap, hot water in sink - only in shower. They did provide a small container of shampoo and shower gel.
It is off the main roads and a bit difficult to find.
We stayed here as it was the last hotel anywhere near Ubon Ratchathani available for the Candle Festival. Although it didn’t seem like a three star hotel, we were glad to be able to stay here for the festival.
