The superior room is a good size and it was maintained well. The check-in service was quick, easy and welcoming. The food and beverage service is below par - the staff are do not manage well when there are lots of tourist groups, there is a lack of direction and experience for staff, when handling big crowds. Breakfast time is hectic without allocated seats, food is not replenished quickly enough whilst some guests are allowed to take multiple plates and take food away for later (!). The food is also not good quality either. Room service menu is limited and we had no drinks list provided. Swimming pool and changing rooms were not clean nor open on time. More of a 3 star hotel which is disappointing for an IHG hotel. There is a tourist desk in the lobby and even though they are an outsourced company, the service from them is lacking too.
