High quality, beyond expectations!

This hotel really exceeded expectations. The room was huge, high-end quality and comfort - great terrace and I used the gym as well. The staff was incredibly accommodating. I hope to stay here on a future visit and it may become my go-to hotel in Roma Norte. I wish I stayed more nights here! Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel was overall fine but the air conditioning unit is loud and don’t forget to bring a toothbrush or they will charge you for it. The concierge should clarify the cost before sending to room as I’ve never been charged for a toothbrush in any hotel I have stayed. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. Probably won’t return as there are so many other places to stay in Mexico City. The location is great .

Check in was complex. was asked to sign a three page contract in Spanish. Check ou was not good either. I had to insist to receive proof that i was being reimbursed for the deposit and to be given a proper invoice.

Charged for 3 person but didn’t prep room for 3 (glasses, towels, coffee, water, coffee pods and cups…). Never cleaned the floor in living room. Had to leave a note to request clean glasses after asking twice I’m person. Beds were smaller than described. Welcoming letterhead said Deluxe suite w hen I booked Executive suite… I could go on. Concierge was very friendly and Shay’s willing to assist.

Great quiet location (aside from the car below that was honking nonstop) but close to many great sightseeing areas. Super clean and nice staff BUT I stayed there 3 nights and twice didn’t get room service despite being out during the day. That means twice I had to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. That’s shameful. Could have used salt and pepper at the dining table as well as jams or butter/margarine. I don’t believe the listing mentioned the complimentary breakfast so that was a great time saver since there’s nothing immediately nearby. For the price this was a great deal.

The blinds would not raise or lower, so they sent maintenance, who after working on them for 30 minutes, said they could change the whole mechanism - we declined as we did not feel it was an appropriate time for work to be done - the room should have been in order before we arrived The air conditioner was not a mini-split as advertised but a free-standing unit that vented extremely hot, dusty air into the bathroom. There was no coffee maker. Housekeeping brought one and 2 capsules and told me that after those 2 (for a 2-night stay) I would have to pay for them. There was no refrigerator or microwave. Overall, not a VIP experience. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Part time front desk

This was my second time staying at this property. I like its style and comfort and above all I love the location. The complaint I have was that its front desk is only staffed part time. I'm not sure if it's Low season but the hotel was deserted. Other than the Porter there were days I didn't see another soul. I had an issue with the tablet that comes with every room. It helps you control TV, lights, fan, etc. It stopped working and I couldn't get fan to work. But there was no one at front desk to help me. The room was hot because there's no central air conditioning. There is a cooling unit that does a decent job cooling the room but it's not central air. Tip: if you arrive really late or need to check out very early call ahead so you don't end up without someone at the front desk. The property is closed doors at night but just knock and the Porter will let you in. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again so long as they have sales. Regular price is a bit high.
